Upload the whole trip. Our AI reads where and when each photo was taken, keeps the journey in order, place by place and day by day, picks the strongest frames and lays out a 300 × 300 mm layflat hardcover for you to approve.

## The trip ends, the photos stay on the phone

Two weeks away produces more photos than any other fortnight of the year, and they are the ones most worth printing. They are also the hardest to sort: several cities, the same viewpoint shot five times, a phone and a camera with different file types.

MakeAlbum uses the GPS and capture time already inside each file to do the geography for you. Photos taken in the same place on the same day stay together, and the book follows the order you travelled in.

## How it works

1. **Upload the whole trip** — Everything from the phone and, if you carried one, the camera: JPEG, HEIC / HEIF, PNG, WebP, AVIF, up to 50 MB each. Write a two-line brief with the places and dates so the album title uses the real names.
2. **In order, place by place** — GPS keeps the photos from each location together and capture time puts them in order, so a trip through three cities runs city by city, in the order you visited them. At every stop the sharper, better-exposed frames are chosen and the near-duplicates set aside.
3. **A title from your brief, then approve** — The album title is drafted from the brief. Rename it, swap any photo, choose the page count from 26 to 80, approve, and the book is printed and shipped to you.

## What you get

- A 300 × 300 mm layflat hardcover, 26–80 interior pages, €199–€349, shipping included.
- Place names and dates in your brief are used as ground truth for the album title.
- Any even page count from 26 to 80, so a long trip can have a long book; the price updates in the editor as you add pages.
- Photos without GPS, from a camera for example, fall back to capture time and content for their place in the book.

## FAQ

### What if some photos have no GPS data?

Camera files and photos with location services off are placed by capture time and content instead. If one lands in the wrong place, move it to another page in the editor before you approve.

### How many photos can I upload for a long trip?

Up to 500 per album; 50–200 works best. Larger sets take longer to process. If you want more of the trip in print, the album goes up to 80 pages.

### Can I add the place names and dates myself?

Yes. The brief is free text of up to a few paragraphs: places, dates, who was there. It grounds the album title, and you can rewrite the title afterwards.
