# Photo album examples — real spreads

> Three example albums shown as 300 × 300 mm layflat spreads, cover to last page, with the page count and what the AI decided.

Source: https://makealbum.com/examples · MakeAlbum, Lisbon, Portugal

The photographs are from a MakeAlbum test shoot in Caparica and Lisbon, Portugal; a customer's album looks like the customer's photographs, not these. Uploading and seeing your own spreads is free; you pay only when you order. 300 × 300 mm square layflat hardcover, 26–80 interior pages, €199–€349, shipping included.

## Family shoot by the sea — 26 pages

One afternoon at Caparica kept in the order it happened: the dunes first, then the beach huts. The sharpest wide frames get a full-bleed page; close portraits are paired or set inset on the facing page.

- **Cover.** Full-bleed cover photo with the album title and its italic suffix; the back cover is plain.
- **Title page.** The title page opens the book on the left, with the album title and its italic subtitle; the strongest wide frame of the afternoon faces it full-bleed.
- **Spread 4 of 13.** A full-bleed page paired with two portraits set side by side.
- **Spread 9 of 13.** Later, by the beach huts: one inset portrait facing a pair, colour and black-and-white mixed.
- **Closing spread.** The last frame of the day inset on the left; the last page carries only our small colophon.

## A weekend in Lisbon — 26 pages

City photos from two days, each place kept together and in the order they were taken. The bridge frame is the cover; street portraits are set inset with generous margins so the architecture reads.

- **Cover.** The frame with the clearest sense of place becomes the cover.
- **Title page.** The title page on the left, the title and its italic subtitle; facing it, the old streets under the jacarandas, full-bleed.
- **Closing spread.** One inset portrait, then the last page with only our small colophon. The book ends quietly.

## Studio portraits — 26 pages

A studio session with plain backdrops. No GPS to go by, so frames are ordered by time; the coloured backdrops are set full-bleed as facing pages, the group portraits inset.

- **Cover.** The group portrait as cover, title bottom-left in the album typeface.
- **Spread 3 of 13.** Two full-bleed portraits on coloured backdrops, facing each other.
- **Closing spread.** The family portrait inset, and the colophon on the last page.
